I am not sure why I started this blog approximately a million years ago other than I enjoyed placing my thoughts together. I also enjoyed feedback from my friends, even though I figured they were just being nice because they are my friends.
I know I will never how some great blog. I don't have the time to figure all of that out. I don't have the know how to code and make it all pretty. And I'm ok with that. Hopefully you all are too.
I will never be a fashion blogger, or fitness blogger, or any one of importance. And that, too, is ok.
I just spent an embarrassing amount of time going back and reading some of my former blog posts. I'm sorry that I subjected you to that. 2011 was a long time ago. I was a 25 year old, single, overweight, third grade teacher.

So Allow My To Reintroduce Myself
Hi! I'm Megan! I am now a 32 year old, overweight, first and second grade math teacher. I like to take selfies. See below!
I also like doing fun things like going to musicals, shopping, concerts, and binge watching television. I also like to pretend I'm important and tell you where I get my clothes. I post on Instagram like people actually care (you can find me @meggymac).
I have been working out for the last 6 months. I have lost some weight and dropped some pants sizes. I have currently not weighed in a month because, well, I didn't feel like it.
New Year, Same Me
I still don't really know the point of this blog. But I feel as though, I may tell you that I am trying to improve myself. This month I have set 4 goals. They are meeting my step goal, drink 100 oz of water, make my bed, and no spending 5 out of 7 days of the week.
So just for good measure, I will leave you with some tips on how to drink more water!
- Get a cute water bottle--because drinking out of a cute bottle is fun! (I bought two S'well bottles today on sale)
- Set A Goal-- It always helps to feel like you have accomplished something
- Remind yourself -- But a sticky note on the fridge reminding you to drink more water
- Drink water first thing in the morning--I try to drink 20 ounces while I'm getting ready.
- Keep water close (ex. by your bed at night) -- Just in case you feel lazy, its' already there
- Drink A Glass Before A Meal -- It will help you get your water in and it will also help fill you up before you eat!
- Use An App--I use my Fitbit app it makes me feel good to tick it off
- Make It Yummy-- Squeeze some lemon in your water, add fruit to it (any kind you want).
I hope all of your dreams become reality in 2019 (and you don't write 2018 when you date things for the next three months).
Yay, Megan!!!! Keep on posting, or blogging...whatever it is!!!
